Yapta Announces "Tag and Fly Sweepstakes"

Tag a flight using Yapta and be eligible to win a trip for two to Hawaii courtesy of American Airlines

SEATTLE - February 11, 2008 - Yapta, Inc. (www.yapta.com), an online travel shopping service that tracks airline ticket pricing for leisure and business travelers, today announced a sweepstakes giveaway where one Grand Prize winner will receive a pair of round-trip tickets to Hawaii, compliments of American Airlines. One First Prize winner will also receive a $500 Marriott gift certificate that can be used at 2,700 Marriott locations worldwide.

The Yapta promotion, called the "Tag and Fly Sweepstakes", will provide each participant with up to 25 chances to win based on the number of flights "tagged" (or bookmarked) using Yapta between February 11th and March 11th 2008. Each flight tagged during the promotional period (up to a limit of 25 per person) will represent a single, unique entry into the sweepstakes.

Online travel planners use Yapta's browser add-on to track airfares by tagging (or bookmarking) the exact flight itineraries that they want while shopping on airline websites. Once a trip is tagged, all key flight information - including price, airline and travel dates - is automatically stored on the traveler's "My Trips" page at Yapta.com and users are subsequently notified via email when prices drop. Yapta also tracks the price of flights that have already been purchased and alerts travelers when they're eligible for a travel voucher or refund from their airline.
