This world-class resort casino is family-owned and operated. The son of Basque immigrants, John Ascuaga built the Nugget from a roadside coffee shop that opened in 1955. His touch is noticeable in details large and small, such as hand-picked friendly staff, welcoming ambience and a reception desk separate from the casino area.

And check out our separate listing on this site for The Courtyard at John Ascuagas Nugget!

John Ascuaga's Nugget offers a full array of casino entertainment, nine restaurants, four live music venues including the incomparable Celebrity Showroom.
