Just up the road from us is the Bennington Museum, where you can walk back through history and view Revolutionary artifacts including the original Bennington Flag. The Grandma Moses Schoolhouse Museum has a fine collection of originals. Just around the bend is the Old First Church... and up Monument Avenue with its stately old Colonials is the Bennington Monument. A short ride to the top provides a panoramic tri-state view. then ther are three covered bridges... and more... We're just across the way from Hemmings Motor News, and a short drive to 18 holes panoramic golf or a quick-paced match of tennis. March back into history at the Bennington Battlefield in nearby Walloomsac. New York. Antique, craft and gift shops will lure you by day; and in the evening visit Bennington's Art Center which presents exhibits and theatre the year 'round.
