Richmond hotel rooms include armchairs, large mirrors, Plasma TV, faux-1930s clock radio, and deco inspired floor lamps. Closets include red umbrellas, safes, and bathrobes. On the walls are framed, enlarged prints of Miami Beach postcards. The Richmond hotel features an outdoor pool surrounded by a piato with lounge chairs, tables, and a spa tub in the shape of a half-moon. A winding cement path leads past a fountain to a key-coded gate, a small wooden boardwalk, and the beach.
