Located oceanfront, The Perry South Beach is a trend-setting, contemporary urban lifestyle resort. The lobby offers a one-of-a-kind welcome, with 27 varieties of fish and sharks swimming in a 50-foot-long glass tank.
Upstairs, the most spacious guest rooms in South Beach average 600 square feet, most with unobstructed ocean views. The decor combines charcoal-gray suede walls with splashes of magenta and teal and playful pinup photos from the 1930s and 40s.
High-tech perks range from wireless Internet and fax lines to DVD-CD players, 40-inch Sony flat-screen televisions, PlayStation3, Sony Dream System stereos, and iPod docks.
The stylish, high-tech ambience continues in 45,000 square feet of function space, including a 6,500-square-foot ballroom and six state-of-the-art meeting rooms. Outdoor gatherings take place at the 10,000-square-foot Ocean Terrace; the Beach Club's tri-level, 40,000-square-foot tropical pool deck and dining oasis or the Rooftop, an 18-story-high retreat with a 22,000-square-foot deck, a 110-foot-long pool, and its own bar and lounge. Add a signature restaurant - STK, the 42,000-square-foot flagship David Barton Gym + Spa, and a full city block of luxury boutiques, and The Pery South Beach ranks as one of South Florida's most fashionable meeting destinations.
Guest rooms strike an alluring balance between elegant simplicity and everyday luxe, with clean lines and neutral shades sprinkled with vibrant splashes of color. Visionary architect Stephen B. Jacobs and interior designer Andi Pepper's custom-designed tables, sofas and chairs create spaces that sparkle with Fifties-era glamour and 21st century amenities.
